Montpellier Quarter
John and the team have recently been plastering in premises on Montpellier Hill, Harrogate, as part of a large renovation project.
Its great to look out of the window at the crocusses blooming in one of most picturesque parts of town, knowing Spring is just around the corner.
Its also great to look at the smooth walls and ceilings which were once old, battered and dilapidated before we got to work on them !
New Van
With Dan having recently passed his driving test, and the business now having four plasterers we now have a little 'run around' van which will soon be sign written. Look out for the new addition to the John Proud Plastering fleet as it buzzes around Harrogate from plastering job to plastering job.
Apprentice Jack
Jack Oxendale has recently joined John, Dan and Adam as an apprentice plasterer. He studies plastering one day per week at Craven College. This gives us more flexibility to complete larger plastering jobs (for builders for example) quickly and also the ability to separate and fit in smaller jobs on a smaller lead time.
Valley Drive
Work continues to flow in with a large property on Valley Drive, Harrogate being re-plastered from top to bottom. John, Danny and Adam are working hard to get the plastering done as soon as possible.
Prestige Property
A new job, plasterboarding and skimming a fabulous new extension on the highly prestigious Ling Lane in Scarcroft, near Leeds has been started.
We are working to exacting detail to further enhance this multi-million pound property alongside the client, architect and main building contractor.
Another Great Job
Newly plastered walls and ceilings in a dining room, bedroom and hallways have delighted Sarah and Joe on Valley Road, Harrogate. Sarah simply said, 'We couldn't be happier with the work. Thanks for a great job'.
It is this kind of customer satisfaction which keeps clients happy and our diary full. For any quotes required please try to book early to avoid disappointment.

New Plasterer Adam Settles In Well
Adam Kershaw has now done two weeks work as a plasterer for the business and is settling in really well.
He does a great job at a good speed and having an extra employee means we have more flexibility in trying to fit in smaller plastering jobs. For the builder, it means we can all come in and get through our plastering work really quickly.
Adam is the extra pair of hands I've been needing for ages.
Well done Adam on a good start.
Clarence Drive Harrogate
When a plasterer was required for a renovation to the basement and ground floor of a large house on Clarence Drive, Harrogate, builder John Inglis had no hesitation in asking John Proud Plastering to undertake further work for him. The job is now under way and everyone is so far pleased with progress and the quality of the finish.
Windmill Work Completed
John and apprentice Dan have recently finished boarding and plastering a large extension to Tollerton Windmill between Harrogate and York. This magnificent property is now further enhanced with part of the original curved windmill wall now enclosed within the extension. The work was very enjoyable and everyone involved was pleased to have contributed to the plastering of such a fine house.
